Joie du printemps (Joy Of Spring) is the first work in a series of four, depicting the seasons. The joy of life, felt in early spring is a returning celebration of existence, bringing back the life after death, the outside moving energy after a period of introversion, the return of vibrant colors after a time in which brown was the prevalent tone of hues. The energy is still subdued, as being just awake. There’s wonder, the animals are returning from their wintersleep and still have their furry winter coat. The light is still faint, as it was almost dead, but it punctures holes in shadowy figures, impregnating it with an inner light, creating a slight halo around it, after the aura has gone… The mystery of change is one of the most powerful moments in existence and evokes feelings of wonder… This is Rayastre’s personal cabinet of wonders, celebrating the mystery and mysticism in wonderful life.
