The Universe Has No Shore is a multilayered, multi interpretable
sculpture made from wax, pike taxidermy and ceramics. The fish seem
to come out of their sphere. They think they need the water, but their feet stick out from below. They have golden nails, as is the luster crown they’re creating by vomitting golden balls… The balls fall into the water, returning tothe fish who spit them out again. The fish have eyes reflecting the dying light… The bowl sphere is the earth, we
reach out into the sky and we kiss the golden crown. The crown disintegrates and radiates, we fall into the water. Our mouths burn, our feet are walking away. But they’re walking in opposite directions. We’re surrounded by hell, but the water and balls radiate with a beautiful inner light.
